My Patch My Coastal Town

Artillery Interior Architecture has been invited to host My Patch My Coastal Town at the 2012 Fun4Kids Festival on behalf of Warrnambool City Council.

The Fun4Kids Festival is held over 8 days, each year and attracts around 25,000 visitors. Fun4Kids is a nationally recognised, award winning event. In 2009 Fun4Kids was crowned “Best Community Event in Australia” at the 2009 Australian Event Awards.

My Patch My Coastal Town at the 2012 Fun4Kids Festival promises to be exciting and enjoyable for all participants.

The success of the My Patch program in delivering a unique experience to the community is reliant on sponsor support. Sponsoring My Patch My Coastal Town at Fun4Kids is a great opportunity for organisations to connect with the community and support a program which promotes environmental sustainability through innovative design and interactive learning.

We look forward to seeing you there!

My Patch My City

Artillery Interior Architecture hosts a free children’s model making event to help stimulate ideas and discussion surrounding a Future City.

Children, their families and friends are given the opportunity to construct their own, ideal, “Patch“ of a future city from a wide range of raw and recycled materials with the help of designers, architects and consultants. As the day progresses, “Patches” are pieced together to form a vibrant, mini cityscape.

“My Patch My City” continues to feature as one of the key satellite events for children during the State of Design Festival, held every year in July. Previously the event has been held at the Melbourne Museum incorporated within the Winter Public Programmes’ calendar and at the Royal Melbourne Show as part of the ‘Fast Forward’ Victorian Government Expo.

Promoting sound environmental and ecological values for Artillery means working together with the community for better social, economic and environmental outcomes.

My Patch is a great opportunity to link environmental initiatives, while providing children with the chance to explore their creativity, learn and have fun.

The Event is about linking design, sustainability and the community of Melbourne. We feel these three areas are important for all of our futures.
